Operating under the same ownerhip for the past 35 years, Angler Boat Corporation is one of the few major independent boat builders still remaining. Being independent and under private ownership means they are not just limited to providing engines from one specific manufacturer. They supply boats rigged with Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude or Suzuki - it's about freedom of choice.
Additionally, you won't find mass production techniques at Angler. Their boats are still hand built using hand laid fiberglass matting instead of the sprayed chopped strand found in many mass produced hulls. It takes more time and it's more labor intensive but it makes for a better and stronger boat. That's what makes an Angler an Angler, a hand built boat at a mass produced price.
